Austria's highest café
The highest café in Austria and an unobstructed view of North Tyrol's highest mountain, the Wildspitze. This is the architecturally outstanding mountain station of the Wildspitzbahn in Pitztal. The free-floating terrace offers a fantastic view of the surrounding glacier world and about 50 three-thousand-meter peaks, as well as many other mountain ranges in the eastern Alps.
Pitztal Mountain Advent
If you want to experience the Advent season from its romantic side, the Pitztal is just the right place. The small village of Plangeross, which claims its place between steeply towering rock giants at an altitude of 1600 meters just before the head of the valley, becomes an Advent calendar in December.
